PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT

Registration is free and grants you limited user access to the Town of Raymond's website. Note: At the present time, such access is limited to page (content) subscriptions, meaning you'll be notified whenever a page you're subscribed to is updated. No other access, such as "reader comments" or "forums," is available at this time. 

To complete your registration, you must agree to abide by the rules and policies outlined below. In addition, you will be contacted via the e-mail address you provide, and you must reply to that note within one week.

1. You will receive a user ID and password, and you are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password and ID.
    
2. You understand that all information or other materials (Content) that you post publicly or privately on this site are your sole responsibility, and you agree not to post or make any information available for which you do not own copyright or have explicit permission to use.
    
3. You agree not to upload, post or otherwise make available any Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or otherwise objectionable.
    
4. You agree not to impersonate any person or entity, to falsely misrepresent yourself or to manipulate identifiers; and you agree not collect others' personal information without their permission.
    
5. You agree not to post spam or other unauthorized advertising or solicitations, nor to upload or post viruses or other code that interferes with the operation of this site or its equipment.
    
6. You understand that you may be exposed to Content you find objectionable.
    
7. The Federal Trade Commission's “Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA)” requires that websites obtain parental consent before collecting, using, or disclosing personal information from children under 13. If you are below 13, then you may not apply for a user ID and password.
    
8. Under no circumstances will the Town of Raymond be liable in any way for any Content posted by site users, including, but not limited to a) any errors or omissions in any Content, b) any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any Content posted or otherwise made available to you through this website, or c) any loss or damage due to the misuse or malfunction of any hardware or software.
    
9. The Town of Raymond's Webmaster reserves the right to refuse, modify, remove or terminate any account at any time, for any reason or for no reason, and to modify the terms of this agreement at any time without notice.

By applying for user access to the Town of Raymond's website, you certify that you meet the above criteria and agree to abide by all of the above rules and policies.
